Immersive environments

This post by Wave Systems, our media player brand, triggered this blog. It is a great install and fantastic idea. Yoga in an relaxing environment.

In fact this can be applied to gyms, swimming pools, waiting rooms, treatment rooms and even restaurants as well.

What disturbs me are the visible projectors and loss of space due projection offset.

Provided you have the budget, take Fujifilm Z6000 or Z8000 projector and hide them in the ceiling. Only the lens is visible.

The zero offset design allows you to maximise wall space and for a 6m wall the projector would only be 2.4m away.

No risk of people shadow as well.

The projector is available in white and, if you have aircon outlet or other fixtures, the wide lens shift makes the install easy.

For media playback, use Wave Systems VP or EVP player. They sync and play back MP4/MP5 files w/o reauthorising. The EVP even allows you to control the light via DMX..

The walls of your space paint with HATO projection paint. This makes it easy, saves space and if damaged, can be fixed in no time.
