Lang EVO frames – made in Germany
For several years we have imported Lang Frames from Germany.
Actually it is LANG AG. The company is located about one hour from Cologne in Western Germany. Lang AG has a long history in equipment rental to staging companies, events and venues, while not being a traditional staging company. In addition Lang operates a well respected academy, teaching about audio visual applications, products and safety, etc..
From this background, LANG AG recognizes the need for quality support technology, such as projector frames, which are compatible over a long time, even with older models, but adapted to latest standards.
All EVO frames are in-house engineered and manufactured in Germany by specialized workshops.
Since projection frames have to carry great weights, safety standards are critical. Imagine the drama if a projector would drop down onto an audience or performer. The human and financial cost would be substantial. Because of this, it is imperative that all components which go into one of these frames, as simple as they may look at times, are carefully selected and tested and as equally carefully assembled. As one company representative told us, “you can make frames from plumbing steel and paint them black and nobody would know.”
In Europe all Lang frames are TUV and DGUV17 verified and have been to complete static analysis.
While the EVO frame series has been primarily promoted for Epson and Panasonic projectors, they are available for Barco, Christie, NEC and other brands.
By the well, all EVO frames feature built-in galvanic insulation, to avoid electrical current running into the truss frame.
Complementing the EVO frames are EVO Link. These are self locking truss clamps available with and without fine adjustment. EVO link make the mounting of the truss a great deal easier and safer fpr the crew. An important aspect in our current work safe environment.
ITI-Image Group imports LANG frames fully assembled on case by case basis. This guarantees first of all that the frames are manufactured to the latest development and secondly assembled to manufacturer standard, something which may not be guaranteed if imported disassembled.
Lang frames may appear more expensive compared to other brands. But that is for quality and safety.
