The excitement of seeing new technology.

We are flooded with announcements of new technology on a daily basis.

But finally seeing the item, even if it is ‘only’ an improvement over an existing model, is something different.

Of course ‘only’ is an understatement here.

Yesterday I had a chance to see the new Fujifilm ZUH6000 4K projector the first time.

Yes, it looked familiar. Same shape, almost same dimentions. Same functionalities. Small changes to buttons, connectors.

Small stuff.

But the picture. What an improvement. Not just higher resolution. Every 4K projector can do that.

But the big image from just an armslength away from the screen. Clear like a drop of water.

Edge to edge. Just as you would expect from Fujifilm.

Maybe I exaggerate. After all it is just a projector. But it is the image it projects, the excitement the creator of the content felt, reproduced, right in front of you.

Plus another point. Borrowed from some other advertisement years back “a whispering giant”.

While the ZUH6000 is not a giant, in fact it is really compact, it is whisper quiet.

A projector, you could put into a bedroom to watch a movie, covering the whole wall (or with a flip of the lens the ceiling) without waking your sleeping partner. Maybe Fujifilm should just supply a pair of eyeshades with it.

But as in the bedroom, this projector will do its job, quietly and brilliantly, where ever you put it. Boardroom or TV studio. Home Theater or Opera House. Classroom or War Games room.

And more.

Come and see it, at Integrate, Sydney, next month.

Or order from ITI-Image Group Pty Ltd, Sydney.

You will like it.
